Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Wednesday: 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

(elementary students are dismissed early on Wednesdays so staff can take part in weekly meetings, planning and professional learning)

 

Students Line Up at 7:55 a.m. and Enter the Building at 8 a.m.

D97 SCHOOL FEES

 *D97 School Fees are different than the Mann PTO dues

 

The mandatory D97 school fee for kindergarten is $180, which covers the cost of instructional materials, technology,  supervision before school, after school and during lunch.

 

If your child is interested in participating in the district’s food service program, the daily fees are $1.75 for breakfast, $2.80 for lunch and $0.45 for milk.

 

Your child may qualify for free and reduced priced meals in conjunction with the National School Lunch Program.

The application and requirements for this program will be made available on the district’s website over the summer.

Ashley Zak

I'm Ashley Zak and I am very happy to be the co-kindergarten liaison for the 2024-2025 school year.   My husband Bryan and I have a third grader, Darren and a first grader, Elliott.  We've lived in Oak Park since 2018 and love being a part of the Mann community.   This first year is an important time in your child's life.  Amanda, Anna and I look forward to working with you.

 

Amanda Shaker

I'm Amanda Shaker, my husband Adam Petrzelka and I have Sydney, a 3rd grader and Wyatt a kindergartener.  I'm a native Oak Parker, a Mann alumni and absolutely LOVE this school.  I remember feeling very lost navigating Kindergarten.  So, Ashley, Anna and I are thrilled to be a helpful resource to you as you and your family embark on this exciting new chapter!

 

Anna Kakos

My name is Anna Kakos. I am a Cincinnati native who has roots in Oak Park (my grandmother grew up in this lovely community).  I am so happy to serve as one of your kindergarten liaisons.  My sons are James (2024 alumni) and Jude (kindergarten). Cheers to a wonderful school year!

REGISTRATION

Dear District 97 Families,

 

We hope this message finds you well. We're reaching out to inform you about some important updates to our annual registration process for the 2024-25 school year.

 

Registration Opens Feb. 22 for New Students ONLY

Starting today, February 22, 2024, all new students to District 97 for the 2024-25 school year will be able to begin registration. This will include all students enrolling in kindergarten, as well as, new students in first through eighth grade. 

 

Registration for all returning District 97 students opens March 5.

A separate link and communication will be sent to families prior to that date.
